Entry stamps of Europe with US Passport?

I am going to Europe and will be visiting 3 countries with my US passport. My question is ... will there be separate entry stamps for each country I visit in Europe?, or will I need one stamp for the entire trip?. In other words would they stamp my passport every time I cross borders within Europe?

YOu don't need one unless you stay for a long period. If you stay longer than 90 days, you will need a VISA - (2007-09-28)
