During the summers, the weather is always so hot while the winters are windy, wet and cold. The winter season doesn't last long. During the year, the temperature changes from 35 °F and move to 89 ° F but it hardly gets below 22 °F or rises above 95 °F.

In Atlanta, summer starts from the 24th of May till the 17th of September. The city experience a very hot weather on the 22nd of July each year. Winter, on the other hand, starts from the 28th of November and lasts until the 25th of February. The city experience an icy day on January 23.

How to get there?

Atlanta has one major airport: The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport which is known as the busiest airport in passenger and aircraft traffic. The airport offers services to more than 150 U.S cities and 75 destinations in 50 countries outside the U.S. The airport is situated 16 kilometers south of Atlanta Downtown, and one of the airlines that dominate the airport is the Delta Airlines.
When you arrive at the airport, you can enter the city by the using the public transport known as the MARTA which operate both rail lines and bus throughout the city. No matter where you are going, the MARTA trains and buses has you covered because it can take you to the east, south, north or west of Atlanta at a rate of $2.50.

We don't advice anybody to drive through the city unless you are going to a location where MARTA cannot reach. The town is always congested, and the motorists can scare you with their driving. Also, if you park a car in your hotel's parking space, you will be paying $20 every night. However, if you must drive, rent a car that has a GPS installed, or you can take yours along with you so that you won't be confused by the names of the roads.
